Want to book a beach sports court in London? We’ve got sand space available for all different beach sports: beach soccer, beach rugby, footvolley, beach tennis, wrestling, yoga, beach handball and beach volleyball.

Kidbrooke

We have sand available for beach volleyball, beach tennis, beach fitness and footvolley at the Samuel Montagu Youth Centre. These cost £16 per hour. The courts can also be booked for private events, filming on sand, corporate days and more.

Loxford Park

Our multi-sport centre in Loxford Park, in Ilford, is fantastic for events and beach sports of all kinds. Our facility is suitable for beach tennis, beach soccer, beach handball, ultimate frisbee, beach volleyball, footvolley, beach rugby and more.

FAQ and Ts & Cs

Our opening times change periodically through the year to fit with daylight hours, school term dates and staff availability. As a guide, the courts will be available from 3pm-dusk/9pm (whichever is sooner) on weekdays during term time and from 9am-8pm on weekends.
Please DO NOT park at the Samuel Montagu Youth Centre, as the car park there can close and leave you locked in. ALWAYS park on Broad Walk or at the Shooters Hill Sports and Social club.
School holidays start on the 21st July for the summer, when the courts will be available for day bookings again.

The 2023 hourly rate is £16 per hour.
Block bookings are subject to a discounted rate of £14 per hour. To make a block booking, please email hello@fireballbeachvolleyball.com

To book, just search for the date that you'd like to book, and you should then see what court availability there is that day. Choose the time slot you'd like, put your details in, pay, and that's job done! Any problems, please send an email to hello@fireballbeachvolleyball.com.
When you book, you will receive the combination via email and SMS for the padlock on the courts shortly before your booking. This only works if you enter your email and phone number correctly. So please do check!

If you get to the beach and find that you are having so much fun that you would like to keep on playing, that's great! Just hop back onto the online booking system and book extra time, if there's a slot available-or book with one of our staff members on site.

We encourage you to bring food and drink with you, or to pop up to the pub at the top of the hill to grab some, when it's open. However, please put all rubbish in the bins provided, and please do not bring any barbecues. These have been banned by Greenwich Council.

You can pay £7.50 to borrow a ball when booking.
Please then email hello@fireballbeachvolleyball.com to get the code to pick up the ball.
Although we will do our best to get them back for you, we are afraid we can't be held responsible for any balls lost over the fence into the neighbours' gardens. Please do notify us if this happens!

By booking, you agree that you and others playing with you are using the courts at your own risk. We accept no liability for injuries or illnesses caused by using the facility.

To cancel, please send us an email at hello@fireballbeachvolleyball.com. From May, if you ask to cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the booking is due to start then we will issue you with a full credit note for the same amount, to be used at any point within a year. Out of season (October-April), you can cancel up to 8 hours in advance and still receive a full credit note. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours (in season) or 8 hours (out of season) before the booking is due to start will get half the value of their booking as a credit note, to be used at any point within a year. Bookings cancelled by Fireball for any reason will receive a full refund.
