About Our Residential
Come and join us for our residential in Cardiff from the 31st July – 4th August! We will be running a 5 day residential holiday camp packed full of beach volleyball sessions, tournaments and entertainment. There will be lots of technical and tactical input to improve your game whilst creating an inclusive social environment for everyone to get involved in.
Our happy campers will be staying in single rooms in the Cardiff Met Plas Gwyn Halls during their stay from the 31st July to 4th August. We have an overnight ratio of one coach to 7 campers, with all on site staff safeguarding trained and DBS checked.
This camp is open to children from age 12 and up. We want to ensure that everyone attending is fueled up for fun so we will be providing 3 meals a day. All meals will be at the Cardfiff Beach Centre. We strive for inclusivity at Fireball so we are happy to cater for any dietary requirements in advance. The meals will be broken down as follows:
- Continental Style breakfast with a choice of toast, cereals, pastries and more.
- Build your own lunch, with sandwiches, salad, fruit etc.
- Hot meals at dinner time. Vegetarian and meat option every day. Example: lasagne/veggie lasagne with garlic bread and salad.
- All dietary requirements catered for in advance
This camp is a great chance to come and learn from experts, make friends and experience something new! Players of all levels will be welcome, we can’t wait to have you on board!
Description & Activities:
We will be doing 3 sessions of beach volleyball every day! That means about 5 hours of volleyball every day with our fun, friendly Fireball coaches.
We will split groups roughly by ability. Friday, our last day, will be our tournament day. You will be paired up and we will have a fun-packed end of week tournament competing against everyone else on the camp! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged 😉
All Fireball staff are DBS checked and we will have a safeguarding lead present throughout the event. They will be staying in blocks of 8 rooms. There will be a responsible staff member staying in each block, who will be their contact person.
The children will be walking to and from Plas Gwyn each day. We will leave the halls at around 8:30 each morning and return around 6-7pm, after dinner. All meals will be at Cardiff Beach Centre, we will just have evening snacks available for them at Plas Gwyn.
Each evening will have different entertainment put on. For example, we have:

Wednesday: Film Night
Thursday: Awards Evening

Departure: 4pm on the 4th August from Cardiff Beach Volleyball Centre
