We can’t wait to see you at our Worthing Spring camp an Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February.
Fireball Head Coach and England national team player Sam Dunbavin will be leading the camp across both days, supported by other excellent Fireball coaches (TBC). Sam has coached across the world and has a wealth of experience to bring to his sessions. He is currently assistant coach to the England junior men’s squad and is a Volleyball England staff tutor, helping to train up new coaches across the country. Sam has been coaching for over 10 years.
Each day is split into 3 sessions: 10-11:30, 12-1:30, 2:30-4:30. You book for a whole day, which costs £75 per person.
The training is a great opportunity to work on tactics and technique to improve your beach volleyball game. When you sign up you can request a training topic, which Sam will integrate into the session design. You will also get personal feedback after the session via Whatsapp.
Saturday is focused on the beginner to intermediate skill level, while Sunday is focused on intermediate to advanced level players. We have 8 men’s and 8 women’s spots per day.
To be eligible for Sunday’s group you need to be able to: a.) reliably serve the ball into a specific quarter of the court, b.) Jump and hit the ball with control into different parts of the court c.) Understand and play in a basic blocking system of gameplay.
