Welcome to the Fireball Junior Series, a season-long programme of junior beach volleyball tournaments created to help young athletes develop their game in a friendly, supportive, and competitive environment. The 2026 series features events at both Croyde Beach and Kidbrooke, offering juniors multiple opportunities across the year to play, learn, and grow. With five dates throughout the Spring and Summer, these events are designed to make competitive beach volleyball accessible and enjoyable for players of all levels.
The mid-season Junior Series event on the 27th June 2026 returns to Kidbrooke, providing juniors with a supportive, energetic setting to test their skills, enjoy plenty of match play, and continue progressing throughout the summer.
Who Can Participate?
The Junior Series is open to all young players looking to challenge themselves, whether they are complete beginners, developing competitors, or experienced juniors seeking more tournament play. The events are ideal for athletes playing in their first competition thanks to the welcoming, low-pressure atmosphere. All participants must hold a valid UKBT membership before competing.

Format and Match Experience
These tournaments are intentionally relaxed and inclusive, ensuring that every junior is matched against players of a similar level. Two age categories are available – U19 and U15 – and players will be ranked within their age group even if they compete in mixed-age pools during the event. We guarantee each team at least four matches.
The exact format may vary from event to event depending on entries, and full schedules and details will always be provided in advance. Although teams from different categories may be mixed during play, final standings are separated by age group. For example, if an U15 team finishes third overall but is the highest-ranked team in its category, they will be crowned U15 champions.
Our team works hard to maintain a positive, respectful environment throughout the day, with staff monitoring behaviour from players, coaches, and parents to ensure everyone enjoys their experience on the sand.
Special Camp-Linked Events
Three tournaments within the Junior Series form part of our seasonal training camps:
- 6 April 2026 – Junior Easter Camp Tournament at Croyde Beach
- 21 August 2026 – Junior Summer Camp Tournament at Croyde Beach
- 28 August 2026 – Junior Summer Camp Tournament at Croyde Beach
Players attending these camps receive free tournament entry if they hold a valid UKBT membership. However, you do not need to be part of the camp to enter the tournament – non-camp athletes are fully welcome and will compete alongside camp participants.

Cancellation policy
Our cancellation policy can be found here. Our events will go on in most weathers – so please be prepared to come along! Pulling out due to rain or cold on the day will not be treated as an acceptable excuse, and you will not receive money back.
If the event is cancelled for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
If your circumstances change and you cannot attend, please let us know with 48 hours notice to receive a full refund. Between 48 hours and the event start time, you will receive a half refund; after the event start time you will not receive a refund.
