The concept
Founded in 2019 by England international player and coach Sam Dunbavin, Fireball is focused on delivering high quality beach volleyball events with a community feel. We love to share those amazing beach moments with you. Whether it’s winding down at sunset after a day of training camp or celebrating your first ever tournament win, we’d love you to come and join the #FireballFamily.

Winter Tournament – Croyde

Welcome to our first Winter Tournament of the season in beautiful Croyde! This will be on Saturday, 8th November in the Village Green.
Don’t let the chilly weather keep you away — this event is open to players of all levels. Expect a fun, friendly day of beach volleyball to stay active and enjoy the winter vibes.
We’ll keep you warm with Free hot chocolate and Gazebo shelter for players and spectators

Adult Easter Camp – Croyde

Back again for 2026, our adult Easter camp from the 3rd-6th April is a long weekend packed FULL of beach volleyball action! We are offering an amazing programme with daily training led by brilliant Fireball coaches, sauna trips, yoga sessions, sea dips and daily camp dinners cooked by our brilliant camp chef Tom. It’s a fantastic way to supercharge your pre-season.

Fireball was started in 2019 by England beach volleyball player and coach Sam Dunbavin to grow the beach volleyball game and bring his passion to more people. That remains our ethos: to eliver high quality beach volleyball events across the UK.
We have permanent partner clubs in London and North Devon. On top of that, we run tournaments, coaching camps, clinics and exhibitions at further venues throughout the summer. More details on all our venues below.
We also run some bespoke camps abroad – see our camps section for more details.
We aim to run events for players of all different levels and backgrounds. We have elite tournaments for the country’s best players and beginner training sessions for players just finding their feet in the game. If you are new to the game or aren’t sure whether an event is right for you, do just email us.
