We have an exciting 8-12 month internship placement available in written media. This position is perfect for someone looking to get more experience in creating and curating written media and is interested in sport, or specifically beach volleyball.
The role has considerable scope for creativity and is wide-ranging. It would involve:
- Writing press releases, blog posts and curating the biweekly e-newsletter
- Helping to shape and create some of the longer social media posts
- Writing copy for and reimagining the Fireball website
- Creating packages for partners and players on Canva
It could be done remotely, or interns could also gain some experience at our events. Expenses would be paid for this.
Fireball would provide:
- In-placement training and support, with regular check-ins with Fireball CEO Sam Dunbavin
- Access and training in Canva, WordPress and Brevo (our marketing suites)
- Fireball staff uniform and discounted stash
- Discounts on attending Fireball events
The expected time commitment to this role is around 4-5 hours per week. The role is unpaid. Ideally this role would be suited to someone of university age or older, but we would consider 16+ year olds.
