Autumn Camp Tunisia

Working with our friends from beachvolleycamps.ch we are delighted to bring you an amazing training camp in the beautiful Tunisian resort of Hammamet in Tunisia! It’s an amazing place to go for a week of sun, sand and sea. We’ll be staying in the beautiful 4* Hotel Phenicia, on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. Expect amazing food, brilliant service and outstanding facilities. More on the hotel here.
There are two weeks to choose from: 5th-12th or 12th-19th October 2024 (or stay for two weeks if you are super keen!)
Included in the package are nine high-quality beach volleyball training sessions with excellent coaches, unlimited free play, 7 nights full-board accommodation in a top class 4-star hotel, camp kit and an airport transfer. We’ll also be heading out on a couple of optional extra trips-there’s a catamaran boat trip and an evening meal in the local town.
As with all our camps, we pride ourselves on making sure that the volleyball is of the highest quality. You’ll train in small groups of up to 8 people with a well-trained, highly experienced coach. Most of the coaches have some World Tour playing experience and have coached for over 5 years. The training is well-planned, focused and, above all, lots of fun!

Most days feature two 2-hour training sessions with expert coaches from acr0oss the world. Session #1 is generally from 10-12 and session #2 is from 3-5, although this can vary according to group requests and weather conditions. We have a tournament later in the week and many people stay on for some free play after the second session of the day (if you have energy left!).
After each training we normally run straight into the sea to cool off, so don’t forget to bring your simming trunks-you get a free beach towel when you arrive.
The rest of your time is your own. You can go for a dip in the sea or the hotel pools, head out and explore the local town, or go and grab snacks and drinks from the all-inclusive hotel restaurants and bars.
The Sentido Phenicia is an amazing hotel that backs straight onto the Mediterranean. It has four different restaurants, all offering a variety of local and international food, as well as a small gym, two pools, tennis courts, a riding area and more.
The service is fantastic, with lots of staff on hand to help you with whatever you need. The town of Hammamet is a five minute taxi ride away, or a half hour walk along the beach. There you can visit the castle and the local bazaars and restaurants.
The stay is all-inclusive, with access to a beach-side bar for water while playing and drinks afterward. The restaurant next to the beach is open for lunch, so you can train, have a dip and eat straight away!
The camp takes place directly on the beach at Hotel Phenicia, near the Tunisian town of Hammamet. The best way to get there is by flying to Tunis (direct flights available from London every day) and then getting about a one-hour transfer to the hotel.
Your booking includes an airport transfer to make your life as easy as possible!
The camp is open to players of absolutely all levels. There are groups of all levels training throughout the week, from elite women’s groups to mixed beginners groups. We will place you in a group that fits your ability and experience. It’s a great chance to meet and player with new people from across Europe!
The maximum number of players per group is 8 to guarantee everyone an excellent coaching experience and lots of chances to improve.
When you fill out the registration form it will ask you for your level (using Swiss levels!) Here’s a rough guide:
A1 = Paid pro
A2/3= semi-finals and finals of UKBT 5* events regularly.
B1= quarterfinals at UKBT 5*, semis + @ UKBT 4*s
B2 = quarters/ semis @ UKBT 3* tournaments
B3= regularly competing at tournaments
Mixed = a more chilled atmosphere with mixed gender and less intensity in the training.
Note on Prices & Booking
As we are running the booking for this through our Swiss partners beachvolleycamps.ch payment will be taken in Swiss francs or Euros. If you have a modern/challenger bank (eg Monzo, Revolut, Metro) they usually charge just the standard Visa or Mastercard rate for transfers and don’t charge any fees for a foreign currency transaction.

Full Package
The full package is our recommended option for players. It includes:
- All beach volleyball (9 trainng sessions, free play, tournament)

Fellow Travellers
If your partner / family / friends would like to come along too, then you can book the hotel and transfer direct with beachvolleycamps.ch too! This would include:
- 4* hotel accommodation on full board
