Spring Camp Mallorca

Most days feature two 2-hour training sessions with expert coaches from across the world. Session #1 is generally from 10-12 and session #2 is from 3-5, although this sometimes varies should the group wish it. Beyond that, we have an optional king and queen of the court session on Tuesday evening, group dinner on Thursday and then a group night out on Friday.

The rest of your time is your own. You can go for a dip in the sea or the hotel pool; give padel or tennis a go at the hotel courts; head into Cala Rajada for food, ice cream and sightseeing; or chill around the hotel enjoying the sun!

Hotel Na Taconera is a stunning 4-star hotel located in the quiet seaside village of Font de Sa Cala in East Mallorca. The hotel specialises in sport, and has two swimming pools, four beach volleyball courts, a fully equipped gym, padel and clay tennis courts on site. 

On the standard package you will be put in a twin room with half board, giving you access to breakfast and lunch or dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. You can choose to upgrade to full board, to have your own room or a superior room category.

The camp takes place in the beautiful Mallorcan coastal village of Font de Sa Cala. Most guests choose to stay in the 4* Hotel Na Taconera, where four of the courts are found. The other four courts we will use for the camp are a short 5-minute walk down the road at the Font de Sa Cala beach, where you can head into the sea for an immediate post-training dip or take a cold drink from the bar after working hard!
The nearest town is Cala Rajada, which is a short taxi ride or about a half-hour walk away. Cala Rajada has lots of fantastic restaurants and a thriving club scene.

If you fancy seeing some sights on Wednesday afternoon there are lots of lovely Mallorcan villages around the area, as well as fabulous hiking, cycling and restaurants.

There are regular flights from all over Europe to Palma airport. From there we will organise you a bus transfer, which takes between one and two hours. We will also organise a return transfer, details of which will be shared with you during the week.

You are responsible for booking your own flight. Once you have your flight, please share the flight number with us-you can do this when you book or afterward.

The camp is open to players of absolutely all levels. There are groups of all levels training throughout the week, from elite women’s groups to mixed beginners groups. We will place you in a group that fits your ability and experience. It’s a great chance to meet and player with new people from across Europe!

The maximum number of players per group is 8 to guarantee everyone an excellent coaching experience and lots of chances to improve.

When you fill out the registration form it will ask you for your level (using Swiss levels!) Here’s a rough guide:

A1 = Paid pro

A2/3= semi-finals and finals of UKBT 5* events regularly.

B1= quarterfinals at UKBT 5*, semis + @ UKBT 4*s

B2 = quarters/ semis @ UKBT 3* tournaments

B3= regularly competing at tournaments

Mixed = a more chilled atmosphere with mixed gender and less intensity in the training.

Note on Prices & Booking

As we are running the booking for this through our Swiss partners beachvolleycamps.ch payment will be taken in Swiss francs. If you have a modenr/challenger bank (eg Monzo, Revolut, Metro) they usually charge just the standard Visa or Mastercard rate for transfers and don’t charge any fees for a foreign currency transaction.

The full package is our recommended option for players. It includes:

Price starts from £775. You can personalise your package with different room choices, upgrading to full board accommodation, adding non-playing partners and more on the beachvolleycamps.ch website when you book.

Fellow Travellers

If your partner / family / friends would like to come along too, then you can book the hotel and transfer direct with beachvolleycamps.ch too! This would include:

• 4* hotel accommodation and half board
• Airport transfer

Prices are all available on the beachvolleycamps.ch website. You can personalise your package with different room choices, upgrading to full board accommodation and more on the beachvolleycamps.ch website when you book.

Training Only

If you are taking care of your own accommodation and would like to join just for the training camp then this option is also available. Just choose option three when booking. Included in this are:

Transfers can also be booked via beachvolleycamps.ch with this option should you require it.

The price for this option is around £400.
