We are pleased to say that our site in Kidbrooke has been announced as a Volleyball England Beach Volleyball Development Centre (BVDC). This recognises the excellent work that we have been doing there over the past couple of years, having established and grown our junior beach volleyball development programme at the site in the London borough of Greenwich.
Fireball Kidbrooke is now one of 7 BVDCs established across England and will benefit from national funding and support to help grow and develop the junior club this year. This includes legacy equipment from the 2022 Commonwealth Games and some funding to help promote the establishment of the club.
As part of the centre’s programme we are running an Easter Camp from the 8th-12th April, which will then be followed by the start of our regular training sessions. We have sessions Monday-Thursday for juniors depending on your age group-more details when you join the group (below). We welcome beginners from the age of 10 and up to these sessions.
The centre is located at the Samuel Montagu Youth Centre, on Broad Walk in Kidbrooke.
We offer bursaries for players who are unable to afford training to still attend and we will also be running a free ‘open play’ night for juniors every Friday.
