These are the points you earn per event. This year, the rankings for all four different types of event (men’s, women’s, junior, mixed) are completely separate, and we will crown our champions of each category at the finals. Results at the finals are worth double points!

Ranking Index

Our ranking index is designed to be a fair system of ranking players for our Southwest Series finals and for mixed events. The ranking index this year will be built from your previous Southwest Series event results and will be the sum of your best four results from the season. The maximum index would be 120 x 4, so 480 points.

For the first mixed event of the year we will use the previous year’s ranking index to seed the event.

FAQs

Are these events part of the UKBT?

Some Southwest Series events are, some aren’t. We will clearly label the UKBT events on the registration page. You can get your UKBT membership and check the UKBT calendar here.

When Should I arrive?

You and your partner will receive an email either the day before or 2 days before the tournament with a full schedule of the games. You need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your first game!

What should I wear/bring?

Whatever you want! We recommend you bring:

Comfortable sports clothes
Tracksuit/hoody & waterproof jacket or dryrobe
Plenty of food & drink
Sun cream

Is the Southwest Series right for me?

Yes! We are 100% committed to making our Southwest Series events friendly, warm, welcoming events for everyone. If you don’t have a great day, we will give you a refund.

Beginners are welcome. We have designed the Southwest Series so it could be your first event or your fiftieth, and you will still have a great time.
